Nepal is predominantly a remittance-based economy with 4 to 5 million Nepali estimated to be working abroad. Nepali migrant workers sent home $8.10 billion in 2020, making the country one of the biggest beneficiaries of remittance in the world. The size of remittances in Nepal was equivalent to 23.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product in 2020, the highest in South Asia, according to the World Bank. Yet, informal channel colloquially known as hundi is pervasive.
I have joined hands with the Arihant group helmed by Mr. Hans Raj Jain, a reputed name in the business fraternity of Nepal, to provide safe and secure remittance by using state-of-the-art technology to our fellow countrymen. I look forward to the pleasure of serving you all.
